The next day Jill, Grant and I went down to the Vatican to do the usual touristy stuff. You should have seen the line! I swear it went for a kilometre at least. I was a pretty bad tourist and didn’t read up on the Vatican very much at all, I expected to be able to just wonder around freely between all the building but it turns out there are clearly defined places you can go. This fountain was giant and really quite slimy; it was in the square out the front of St Peters.
